Fab Fit Fun Spring 2019 Box Review

I tried the Spring 2019 Fab Fit Fun Box. Below you’ll see what was included in the box, my thoughts on and experiences with the items and whether I’d recommend trying out the Fab Fit Fun box yourself.

Canvas Backpack from Duex Lux
The canvas backpack is a mini backpack. It has a clasp closure on top and no zipper. I think it will work for spring/summer outings when I’m going to places like the summer markets, pool parties, etc. and need to pack a few more extra items than what would normally fit in my purse. Given that it’s not a zipper closure, I wouldn’t recommend it if you need something to keep your items secure like if you’re traveling abroad.

Quay Australia Sunglasses
I’ve been admiring this brand for awhile, so I was pretty pumped to see it as an option in the box. I went with the oversized cat-eye frames in all-black. I think they’re flattering and since the normal cost is $50 it was definitely a good deal.

Ciate London Translucent Setting Powder
I use and enjoy Ciate lip products so this is a brand whose quality I trust. The setting powder is lightweight and helps set your makeup. Setting powder isn’t something I use everyday, but it’s nice to have on hand.

Tula Purifying Face Cleanser
I LOVE this cleanser! This cleanser has probiotics in it which can help with fading acne scars and uneven skin tone. What I really like is that my skin will feel really clean after using, but still balanced and not over-dry. A lot of cleansers leave my skin feeling parched after using and this one doesn’t. Plus, I was impressed with how much product is in the bottle. I’m used to fancy cleansers coming in super tiny sizes so this was a pleasant surprise.

OUAI Leave In Conditioner
I also love OUAI products. I don’t typically use a leave-in conditioner, but this will be nice to have going into spring and summer to help fight frizziness. Plus it provides heat protection which is always a plus.

Dr. Brandt Eye De-Puffing Gel
Dr. Brandt is another brand I trust. However, this was one of the items that came in every box and would have been something I’d have swapped, just because I don’t use/need eye de-puffing gel. I’ve been using it on mornings when I didn’t get a good nights sleep and it does give me a more wide-awake look.

Manna Kadar Champagne Body Scrub
This is a great, gentle body scrub. My skin doesn’t feel too rough or dry after using which is usually a concern for me when using a scrub.

Makeup Drop Silicone Applicator
This is similar to a sponge applicator, but is instead made of silicone. The silicone doesn’t absorb your product like a regular sponge so you’re getting the most of our every drop. I’m really excited to try this one out and I’m glad it was in the box because it was something I probably wouldn’t have bought for myself, but am excited to test out.

Overall, I really liked this box. There was a good variety of items and I like that I was able to make my selection for some products while still being surprised with others. I think it’s a great value for the cost. So for now i’ll be sticking with my subscription and eagerly awaiting the summer box.
