Painted Ladies in San Francisco. These are SO gorgeous and one of them that was considered a “fixer-upper” sold in 2020 for $3.55 million. 🤑
They’re symbolic of the famous California Gold Rush. With all the money coming in, builders showed off their new wealth with grand homes with intricate details, turrets and many dramatic windows. And they’re still stunning, right?
You can find the Seven Painted Ladies (aka Postcard Row) across from Alamo Square park.
On any given day you’ll find tourists and locals relaxing at the park and getting photos of the ladies. Absolutely worth a visit!

Between work and personal trips I’ve been to New York City eight times over the past few years and I cannot wait to return! I have a long standing Notes list dedicated to restaurants to try, a whole routine with a matcha spot near my usual hotel and have tried endless pastries. 🥐 🥮 I’m often alone on these trips but there’s so much to do solo even if it’s just walking around. Northside’s Urban Artifact brewery specializes in fruited and sour beers. When I lived in Northside this was one of my favorite spots to visit, especially the outdoor space.
My fave beers are the Gadget (a sour berry beer that goes amazingly with thin mints) and the seasonal Pickle gose. Just trust me on it!!
