This usually happens about every 60 seconds, though sometimes if I mash buttons it can trigger sooner than that. I am fairly savvy, and I cannot see why there would be any sort of connection between using a controller wirelessly vs wired that would affect the frame rate. I have many gamers (xBox controllers) in my household... this has been a common problem with xBox controllers. So they can assist you further.

With this one game I have an issue. Do u happen to know if while playing wired, the elite controler has the same input lag as a normal wired controller? It will tell you if your controller needs an firmware update. I have bought the controller a few days ago and what should I say? Reconnecting the controller does not immediately cause performance issues, but it never happens without the controller connected. It is close to 500ms over multiple tests. I never had those with series 1.

Because it does no longer require the USB Dongle but instead can connect directly to the Bluetooth of a System. I am using an Xbox One S controller via bluetooth. Even on the menu connecting my controller drops framerate to single digits. No problems. If there is no issues on phone Connect a xbox one controller, and see if your framerates drop and if the game begins to lag. However Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. Maybe I'm an outlier in this desire. Update: I fixed it by going back into Big Picture settings and checking the box about the Xbox controller config. It seems to get worse if the battery is low. I hate playing with a low ping. I just purchased a Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 and while the controller itself is pretty amazing, it has a huge issue. I am also looking for this. The other day while playing Halo 5 I accidentally had my Toggle Switch set to the mapping I use for every other game. Yea i probably used the controller type in a way i shouldn’t but just wondered if using the cable supplied regardless of brand but more on a “wireless” controller would reduce input latency that’s all. I also feel like tc has some sort of lag compensation for low ping players.
Try again after you have installed the most recent firmware on your controller and see if the problem still occurs.
I expect to be able to connect my controller perfectly fine and enjoy the game. I'm currently on my second Elite Controller after replacing the first when it broke under warranty.

I have no idea why this is more difficult than a mouse to do but it seems no one is willing or able to make that jump. Its just the basic A B X Y paddles with the trigger range set from 0-20 to make hair triggers usable. Thanks for letting us know! I wonder why Microsoft doesn't advertise the polling rate of these controllers. My Xbox one controller has minor input Lag when using complex button maps. Please help ASAP. Regarding your first suggestion the controller is maintained and kept clean.
