It’s officially spring and while it still feels like winter every other day here in Cincinnati, I’m ready to start wearing some cute spring outfits. I typically opt for casual looks and try to incorporate pieces into my wardrobe that are also work-friendly. These spring 2017 fashion trends are perfect for transitioning into the warmer months.

Dark floral prints are my favorite transitional piece. I love bright florals contrasted against dark colors. I especially like wearing this print on a blouse for work paired with dark jeans or pencil skirt.
The OTS look is still going strong. I’m not the biggest fan of the “cold shoulder” cut-out look, and much prefer the complete OTS style. I think this look is so fun for spring and looks flattering on everyone. It’s a way to wear a little less clothing on warm days, but more covered up than a completely strapless or spaghetti strap top.
So grateful that athleisure is considered a trend! On the weekends, it’s so nice to incorporate comfier clothes and sneakers into my looks. I could probably buy every pair of Nikes shown here. They’re so cute!
This is one trend that I’m really loving. Pastel accessories have been popping up for awhile and there’s not better time to incorporate them into your wardrobe than spring. I consider pastels pretty hard to actually wear so I like accessorizing with them.
Long Pendant Necklaces
I like simple necklaces and long pendant ones are simple and clean, but still add to the look.
Have you noticed the frayed-edge hem on jeans and jackets this spring? I really like it! I’ve picked up two pairs at Old Navy so far! 😃
